Bella Italia was established in 2006, by JWPK Holdings and Chef Maurizo as an “in-hotel bistro” for Malaysia’s prominent bijou Jesselton Classic Hotel addressed at 69 Gaya Street Kota-Kinabalu Sabah Malaysia. The Jesselton Classic Hotel and Bella Italia have an outstanding corner prospect overlooking the city’s bustling high street and “Bella’s” acclaimed gastronomic reputation reflects a keen passion to bring authentic Italian and Mediterranean Latin flavours to the heart of Asia.
Since its beginnings and lead by our Chef-de-Cuisine Mr Leo Velazquez, Bella Italia has extended its gastronomic repertoire and is well established as a highly popular local dining place with an international acclaim for its signature “bellisimo” Italian & Mediterranean Cuisine which is complimented by our Chef-de-Cuisine intimate gastronomic knowledge of the world’s renowned classic Latin, European, Indian Sub-Continent, contemporary Indo-Asian and funky Cuban Chino-Latino cuisines.
